MEZA

Our Story

MEZA was founded by Miriam Meza, a Mexico‑born, New York - raised artist who blends city energy, nature, and imaginative characters.

Miriam’s artistic voice is shaped by her upbringing as a daughter of immigrants, her parents often reminding her that in times of uncertainty one must remember to smile. Her work often strikes that same balance of humor, charm and lightheartedness.

Today, MEZA is operated day to day by a husband (Tyson) & wife (Miriam) duo from their Bronx studio. They built the brand learning as they went, with Miriam hand painting every design & Tyson leading the operations of the brand.

From stationery to home décor, MEZA creates pieces that bring charm to the everyday.

Our BRAND

MEZA’s aesthetic blends:

  • Vibrant, expressive color palettes

  • Playful, character-driven illustrations

  • Nature-inspired motifs and charming animals

  • Hand-painted textures that feel warm and personal

  • A lively NYC energy woven through every piece

This combination creates artwork that is instantly recognizable—joyful, bold, and full of personality.

OUR PROCESS

Every MEZA piece begins with traditional, hands‑on artmaking. She starts with watercolor or acrylic, building expressive shapes, characters, and scenes that carry warmth and movement.

Once the artwork is complete, it’s digitized and refined—carefully preserving the texture of the original brushstrokes—then transformed into stationery, prints, and lifestyle goods. All products are produced in small batches to maintain quality, consistency, and a personal touch.
